Monthly Book Club

Wednesdays, Monthly, starting on January 15, 2025

Join us for a minimal commitment, maximum excitement small group for those that love independent study and want to still connect with others.  This book club will read a new book a month and meet for an hour-ish monthly for discussion of the book.

Some examples of books are: Tattoos of the Heart by Greg Boyle, Breathing Under Water by Richard Rohr, No Cure for Being Human by Kate Bowler, How God Changes your Brain by Andrew Newberg, and Help Thanks Wow by Anne Lammot.

Our first book will be The Spirit of Methodism: From the Wesleys to a Global Communion. Jeffrey W. Barbeau tells the Methodists' creation story: the saintly influence of Susanna Wesley on her sons, John and Charles; John's miraculous rescue from the fire that burned their home; and John's experience at Aldersgate, where he report that, "I felt my heart strangely warmed." The story is familiar, one that has warmed the hearts of countless Methodists through the years.

Join us monthly on Wednesday's starting January 15, 2025, at 7:00 PM as we dive into some wonderful books and get to know one another better and deeper.

Child care offered. No fee to register.
