Join Ebenezer as we serve a large community-style meal for our unhoused neighbors and local community members through Micah Ministries’ Meals Outreach programs. Volunteers will meet at Fredericksburg United Methodist Church in downtown Fredericksburg to prepare, serve, and clean up a healthy dinner for approximately 50–100 guests.
What Volunteers Will Do:
A small team will help prep, cook, serve, and clean up. No special skills or culinary experience are needed—all supplies are provided. A team leader will provide direction and guide volunteers through each task. Jobs are available for all skill and comfort levels, from preparing food in the kitchen to boxing meals ‘to go’ and serving guests in the gathering room.
Age Requirement:
Most volunteers are 10 years and older. Younger children may participate if they are capable of helping prepare a meal at home.
