As Christians, we walk through life with Christ by our side, guiding and shaping us every step of the way. Whether you’re new to faith, new to Ebenezer, or you’ve been following Jesus since 1856—the year Ebenezer Church was founded—there is always room to grow as a disciple.
Every step of the journey invites us deeper into what it truly means to follow Christ, to remain connected to Him, and to live out the example He set for us as both Savior and Lord. This path of discipleship is one of continual learning, transformation, and grace—and we’re grateful to walk it with you.
On August 16 at 11:45 AM, we’ll gather for Discover, the first step in our Discipleship Journey—and we’re excited to begin this meaningful path with you. We call this step Discover because discipleship starts with curiosity, connection, and learning together.
During our time together, you’ll get to know the heartbeat of Ebenezer Church—who we are, what we value, and where God is leading us as we move toward our 2030 vision. You’ll also have the chance to explore the many ways you can get connected to the life of our church and to one another.
We’ll take a deeper look at your unique gifts and God’s calling on your life, walking through your Spiritual Gifts Assessment and discovering where your strengths and passions align with opportunities to serve, grow, and make a difference. You’ll also learn about small groups, mission and serving opportunities, and how your generosity helps fuel our ministry.
We’ll wrap up our time with a invitation to become a member of Ebenezer—if and when you feel ready. We can’t wait to take this first step of the journey with you.
