Lunch and Learn: Ready, Set, Aim - My Life as a Suspense Writer

Author, Linda J. White will be our speaker on Tuesday, February 19, from noon-2:00 PM. Linda writes FBI thrillers with a twist of faith from her home in Fauquier County. She was the assistant editorial page editor of The Free Lance-Star for thirteen years and still contributes to that paper and the County Connector. Her late husband, Larry, was a video producer/director at the FBI Academy. Linda has three grown children and five grandchildren and a Sheltie who loves to herd them all.  Come and hear about Linda’s life as a suspense writer! The cost is $5 and includes lunch.

If you’d like to get a sneak peek at Linda’s work, her book, “Seeds of Evidence” is available from Vicki for $10.  Contact Vicki, vstones@ebenezerumc.org.  Book summary: When a young boy’s body washes up on a Virginia Beach, vacationing FBI Special Agent Kit McGovern knows her break is over. Following slim leads produced by plant DNA evidence on the body, she teems up with D.C. cop David O’Connor. Their search for the truth leads them into a nest of human traffickers and a boatload of misery.

“Seeds of Evidence” won the HOLT Medallion from Virginia Romance Writers, an award of merit, and was a finalist for the National Readers’ Choice Awards.
