2019 kNOw Hunger: Heartwood Summer Feeding Program - Bag Filling Fun!

Our volunteers will be making 800 weekend food bags for summer distribution through the UMC District’s Heartwood Center summer food program. This program serves under-resourced students during the summer months when they do not have access to free/reduced school lunches.  We will pack each gallon-sized baggie with two drinks, two breakfast items, two lunch items and two snacks. All supplies are provided. Meet in the church’s lobby at 12:30 PM and we will get to work!
