Lunch and Learn: Homelessness in Our Area

Joe Hargrove will be the guest speaker.  He will discuss the issues of homelessness in our area, and how the Brisben Center works to assist our neighbors back into permanent housing. Joe will explain how the mission at the Brisben Center is different from the majority of shelters in that residents are taught to sustain themselves once they leave. Other topics will include HUD’s program of rapid re-housing, how we can help, and Joe's own story.
