Differences can enrich us or tear us apart. We can engage difference constructively and compassionately, or we can allow fear of difference to distance us from each other. At a time when cultural polarization has heightened conflict and tension, we need more than ever to cultivate grace with one another, grounded in Jesus Christ. What does scripture teach us about valuing relationship over personal agenda? How does understanding the meaning of the Body of Christ grow us? Learn how to negotiate difference in a way that builds relationships rather than destroys them. Discover commonality, build curiosity, listen well, respect each other, and demonstrative a shared mission to model God’s love in the church and community. Learn more as we study Abraham and Sarah, Jesus’ teachings, and the early church. Learn practical skills and practice them together. There is no cost to attend this class. Kids care will be provided if needed.
